01 / What it is

A Tramex meter uses electrical impedance to read moisture content beneath the surface of a roof or substrate without breaking the membrane. We grid the roof plane and take systematic readings, producing a moisture map of the entire area rather than spot testing where someone thinks the problem is.

The data quantifies the affected area, which makes it useful for sizing a repair scope, defending a service charge, or supporting a funding submission. It pairs naturally with thermal imagery. Thermal shows you where to look. Tramex confirms the moisture content is real.
