01 / What it is

Electronic Leak Detection passes a low voltage current across the roof membrane and identifies the exact point where the current finds its way to the structural deck below. That point is the breach. We mark it, photograph it, and log the coordinates so the repair contractor can patch the membrane at the centimetre rather than guessing.

The method is non intrusive, fast, and works on most single ply, bitumen, and liquid applied membrane systems. It is the right call where you know the roof is leaking but cannot locate the source, or where you want to verify a membrane is intact after a repair has been completed.
